Drive-In Performance: Mars Jackson presented by the August Wilson African American Cultural Center

Mars Jackson is an independent hip hop artist based out of Pittsburgh. Touting a style that speaks to your soul, while combining Midwest/West Coast influences, he is one of the city’s most unique rhymers. The adoration Mars has for hip hip runs deep. His ear for production and love for songwriting manifests as a special connection with the hearts of his listeners, in and outside of his hometown. This performance is presented by the August Wilson African American Cultural Center. This event is part of City Theatre’s Drive-In Arts Festival.

DETAILS

  • Location: Hazelwood Green (4734 Second Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15207). Upon arrival, follow the City Theatre signs to the stage in front of Mill 19.

  • Doors: 7:00 p.m.

  • Show: 8:00 p.m.

  • Tickets: $25 per person ($20 for City Theatre subscribers). Children under 7 do not require a ticket. Tickets can be purchased online here or by calling the City Theatre box office at 412-431-2489 on weekdays between 10am-2pm. All tickets must be purchased in advance; tickets will not be sold at the door.

  • Drive-In: up to 4 people per car. Parking spaces will be assigned on a first-come-first-served basis. Cars will be parked head-in only. Larger vehicles that may block the view of others (trucks, SUVs, vans) may be required to park in designated spaces towards the back of the lot. Oversized vehicles such as RVs and trailers are not permitted.
