Drive-In Performance: Frankenstein by Manual Cinema

A new take on a classic gothic tale, the internationally renowned multi-media company, Manual Cinema, stitches together Mary Shelley’s biography with her beloved story of Frankenstein. This highly-acclaimed production deploys cinematic techniques and a live orchestra to capture an unexpected story about the beauty and horror of creation. This event is part of City Theatre’s Drive-In Arts Festival.

DETAILS

  • Location: Hazelwood Green (4734 Second Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15207). Upon arrival, follow the City Theatre signs to the stage in front of Mill 19.

  • Doors: 7:00 p.m.

  • Show: 8:00 p.m.

  • Run-Time: Approx. 70 minutes, no intermission

  • Tickets: $25 per person ($20 for City Theatre subscribers). Children under 7 do not require a ticket. Tickets can be purchased online here or by calling the City Theatre box office at 412-431-2489 on weekdays between 10am-2pm. All tickets must be purchased in advance; tickets will not be sold at the door.

  • Drive-In: up to 4 people per car. Parking spaces will be assigned on a first-come-first-served basis. Cars will be parked head-in only. Larger vehicles that may block the view of others (trucks, SUVs, vans) may be required to park in designated spaces towards the back of the lot. Oversized vehicles such as RVs and trailers are not permitted.
