With the renaming of the development as "Hazelwood Green," Rebecca Flora (Authorized Agent and Project Director) ushered in a new era for the site on October 13, 2017. Bringing together Mayor Bill Peduto, Councilman Corey O’Connor, County Executive Rich Fitzgerald, Reverend Tim Smith, George Thomas, and a crowd of observers the new name was announced on the site during the kick-off of the two-day Big Tent Event. The new name aims to speak to and strengthen the interconnectivity of the site within the Hazelwood community.

Refer to the recap by Jessica Federkeil of the Post-Gazette for more information on the announcement and the name change.

Note that Almono LLC continues to be the organization that is managing the development project for the Almono LP landowners. Like the transition from "J&L" to "LTV" to "Almono" before it, this next shift from "Almono" to "Hazelwood Green" will require time. Moving forward, the site and development itself will now be referred to as Hazelwood Green.
