Almono LP announces new riverfront planning effort for Hazelwood Green

The foundation ownership of Hazelwood Green is pushing forward to determine the future use of a last key undecided piece of the 178-acre brownfield redevelopment: its 1.3-mile stretch of riverfront.

Almono LP, led by the Heinz Endowments and the Richard King Mellon Foundation, announced that it has engaged with the Pennsylvania Environmental Council and downtown-based architecture firm Environmental Planning & Design to launch a master planning process to determine the future uses of the riverfront at Hazelwood Green.
